ASTM Termometrai
ASTM yra JAV standartas. Šie termometrai yra gaminami pagal E-1 Amerikos medžiagų ir testavimo asociacijos specifikaciją (American Society for Testing and Material (A.S.T.M.).
ASTM standartizuotų termometrų stiklas yra geltonas taip yra pagerinamas termometro rodomų reikšmių nuskaitymas, lyginant su termometrais, kurių skalė yra balta, dažniausia gyvsidabriniams termometrams. Tai kokybės pasirinkimas, nes baltas stiklas ir pigesnis nei geltonas. Gradacijos linijos yra gerai ir lengvai įskaitomos. Specialus gamybos procesas matavimo skalę yra įlieja į stiklą, todėl ji yra nenutrinama ir labai atspari cheminiams reagentams.
Kiekvienas ASTM termometras turi individualų numerį išgraviruotą ant apatinės jo pusės. Pagal paskirtį ir ASTM metodą visi ASTM termometrai yra pažymėti skaičiais. Jei ASTM termometras turi lygiavertį IP abu standartai yra atspausdinti termometro galinėje pusėje.
